In July, 2013 the AWW project team met with 2 Kenyan county governors and 4 staff members from the geographical area of our projects in western Kenya. Our discussions revolved around a briefing of our work and how we can partner with the county governments and coordinate efforts on the projects which AWW initiated during 2012 and 2013: clean water infrastructure, school facility construction, sewing and woodworking small business shops, pastor conferences, medical clinics and substance abuse awareness programs. All these areas of work have stirred the desire of the county governments to devote resources and partner with us.
